A couple things to consider: My high velocity .22LR rounds drop 36 inches at 200 meters (219 yards) when sighted in at 25 yards. At 300 yards it will be a lot more, since you are into the highly parabolic part of the trajectory by then. 22LR rounds are dropping harder than the toilet seat at that point.
